HOT-HOUSE FESTIVAL – CERES PARK THIS WEEKEND
Hi everyone. This e-mail is to tell you
about the upcoming 'In the Hot-House' festival at CERES Environmental park this
weekend, April 17th - 19th, and Ananda Marga's participation in the festival.
The 'In the Hot-House' festival combines the celebration of music, art, craft,
dance, films and food with an exploration of the environmental and social
challenges that exist in our own backyards and around the world. Learn
how to take action on climate change as some of the best of Melbourne's
environmental and community groups show you 'What you can do' and present
alternatives perspectives on the crisis
facing us today.
Ananda Marga will be hosting a stall throughout the weekend where we will be
giving out information on our yoga/meditation classes, post-graduate studies in
alternative economics and social service projects around the world.
On Sunday 19th April at 10:00AM one of our meditation teachers, Abraham
Ana'di Heisler, will be giving a workshop on how 'Yoga and Meditation can be
tools for building a more Sustainable World'. Ana'di is a filmmaker,
entertainer and has practiced Ananda Marga meditation for over ten years. His
workshop will comprise an interesting blend of multi-media and audience
interaction.
