When some people hear about vegetarian or vegan food they express concern about a lack of protein. I have not eaten red meat or chicken for 25 years and I have never had a health problem due to lack of protein. But it may be hard to make a satisfying protein packed meal for those who are not used to cooking without meat.
So in this cooking class I will share with you some satisfying vegetarian recipes that you can easily make at home. We will learn to make vegetarian pate and an autumn vegetable soup soup. We will also prepare a seasonal salad and make our own dressing. Although it is convenient to buy pre-made salad dressings they often contain a lot of sugar as well as other preservatives. Learn to make delicious vegan salad dressing that you can keep in the fridge and re use all week. All recipes will be made from scratch and enjoyed later in the evening after our yoga practice.
Let’s cook a delicious vegetarian dinner together. You might like to bring an apron as we will all be cooking together. Please bring some warm clothes. We will eat dinner outside around the bon fire under the light of the full moon.
