Don't Withdraw the Murder Case

 

Our grave concern has been drawn towards the news on the government's decision to withdraw the case of Udayanarayn Yadav of killing, attacking on police post and robbery of arms.

 

Withdrawing the criminal case and giving amnesty for the shake of political nature will increase the impunity and ends the rule of law. Withdrawing such case time and again makes the people feel that government is accountable towards the criminal rather then the people. It will demoralize Democracy, Human Rights and the Rule of Law.

We strongly demand the Nepal Government to rectify the decision and respect the rule of law without further delay.
