"high power device needs external power"
perhaps the camera adapter will not allow full power to the usb
port or the tab-2 can't provide enough power to the MiniVNA.via

Red LED lights on VNA
I'll have to research and find out if the samsung usb port has
enough current to power the VNA or perhaps figure a way to
external power the VNA.
I have the same problem with a Galaxy TAB 7.7 with ICS. Is not able
to power miniVNA nor miniVNA Pro over USB. On the other side, a
small Sony Xperia Mini ST15i is able to power miniVNA over USB
without problems.
First thing to check is to connect miniVNA before starting the
application. If you are asked to start BlueVNA when that USB device
is connected, then USB Serial support is functional and miniVNA
recognized and you can go further.
If not, then you must search for a powered USB hub.
Anyone with any ideas here, that have had the same
problems or similar?
