Looking to build power and uplift your community?

As many of us seek ways to be in community with one another, consider joining or starting a giving circle, where you team up with friends, family and/or co-workers, discuss issues in their community, pool their dollars, and decide as a group where to make a collective gift.

On July 12, Philanthropy Together is offering a 90-minute training session (Launchpad For You) to help you start a giving circle! You'll leave with all the tools and resources you need to launch your circle.

Some examples of giving circles doing work in their communities include:
  • Dinner Guys Giving Circle - a group of friends in New York City who support the local AAPI LGBTQ community
  • LatinasGive! - a Denver-based Latina giving circle supporting Latino-led nonprofits in the area
  • Vital Little Plans - an artist collective and giving circle that supports equitable, creative, and vital plans that are arts-driven and community-led for neighborhoods and places
If you want to make a big impact by starting a giving circle, please register today.

Also, if you have any questions about Philanthropy Together, Launchpad, or giving circles in general, let me know!
