The Center for Environmental Health is hiring! Here is a blurb for each of our open roles that includes a link to more details about the role.
Community Environmental Health Manager: The Community Environmental Health Manager (CEHM) provides strategic capacity
building and technical assistance support to CEH’s staff and current and future community partners in CEH’s work to end environmental exposures to toxic chemicals. The CEHM manages environmental exposure cases, and liaises between program staff, the organization’s
legal counsel, and residents and leaders from frontline communities. The CEHM manages community health advocacy projects over the life of a legal case or policy advocacy campaign, providing various types of technical assistance, maintaining open lines of communication
with leaders regarding litigation developments, advocating on residents’ behalf to CEH staff and attorneys, and recommending solutions to environmental health concerns to address barriers and move projects forward to achieve the CEH mission and vision.
Senior Director of Development: The Senior Director of Development (“SDoD”) provides dynamic leadership,
brand awareness and storytelling, develops and executes fundraising strategy, and manages the Philanthropic Partnerships team. This entrepreneurial professional has experience and success in soliciting, stewarding, and securing major gifts, securing foundation
grants, overseeing successful annual fund campaigns, soliciting corporate sponsorships, executing events, and managing development operations. The SDoD will lead a high-functioning development team called the Philanthropic Partnerships team. The SDoD will
collaborate with program and communications staff to ensure that development language is compelling and factually correct to facilitate meaningful conversations with donors/funders. The SDoD works closely with the CEO and the CEH Board of Directors to devise
and execute fundraising initiatives.
Have a great 3 day weekend everyone,
