| Native Plant Program Assistant The Native Plant Program Assistant (NPPA) will provide programmatic support for AMLT's Native Plant Program (NPP). The NPP currently focuses on production of native plant seed and live plants for restoration / stewardship projects, however as time goes on it is anticipated the NPP may expand to include activities such as native plant production for Tribal cultural uses and/or for other purposes. The NPP is supported by the AMLT Cascade Volunteer Team, currently consisting of about 50 people who each contribute 8-20 hours of work per month. An important part of the NPPA’s role will be to support and work with the Volunteer Team on volunteer workdays.
This is a full time, permanent, hourly, non-exempt employee position that includes benefits. Compensation will be between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour, depending upon experience. The NPPA will be required to be available to work on site at Cascade Ranch or other locations where NPP work is being performed from Monday through Friday of each week. The NPPA will need to provide their own transportation to and from work locations, and mileage to and from work locations will be reimbursable at the federal rate. The NPPA will report to the Native Plant Program Manager (NPPM).

Camp Cook: Cultural Resource Stewardship Summer Intern Program The Camp Cook: Cultural Resource Stewardship Summer Intern Program will include preparing two hot meals each workday (breakfast and dinner) and help participants prepare a bag lunch. The program will involve Cultural Resource Stewardship Summer Interns and students from the University of Oregon. The total number of participants is estimated to be 30. The Camp Cook will receive support from camp participants, who will take turns helping assist with each meal. The majority of the work carried out in this position will consist of physical labor tasks. This position will require working regularly in outdoor conditions and could include working in inclement weather.
The Camp Cook will be required to be available to work on site at Watsonville Slough Farms (Santa Cruz County) and Cascade Ranch (San Mateo County). Camping supplies, such as a tent, cot and sleeping bag will be provided. If local, camping with the group is not required.
This is a temporary, up to 40 hours per week position from Monday, July 8, 20245 to Friday, August 9, 2024 (25 weekdays). The rate of pay will be between $25.00 to $27.00 an hour depending on experience.

Director of Development The Director of Development creates and executes a comprehensive fundraising program, develops strategies and plans, and leads efforts to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. This includes cultivating and stewarding relationships with prospective and existing institutional donors and individual supporters, developing and growing a Major Gifts Program, planning, and executing special donor events and supporting the development and successful execution of special initiatives, including capital campaigns.
As a member of the senior management team, the Director of Development participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives, helping develop and implement the annual operating plan and long-term strategic vision and goals of the organization. The Director of Development works collaboratively to achieve strategic and sustainable organizational growth, to manage AMLT grants and contracts, successfully execute capital campaigns, and to help AMLT effectively communicate our story to existing and prospective donors and the general public. The Director of Development supervises, and is supported by, a Development and Communications Manager.
This is a full-time, exempt, position that comes with health benefits, paid personal time off and holidays. The annual compensation is between $95,000 to $110,000, depending upon experience.
