Hello Everyone -- I'm excited to share that AXIS Dance Company is officially searching for their next Executive Director.

The ED will serve as the operational and strategic anchor, ensuring the artistic vision has a sound and sustainable organizational home. We're looking for someone with strong nonprofit management experience, financial and legal fluency and a real commitment to disability justice as central to organizational identity. No prior experience in dance or disability arts is required.

Key details:

• Location: Berkeley, CA (hybrid, 3 days onsite)

• Salary: $95,000–$105,000

• Benefits: 100% employer-paid Kaiser HMO Silver

• Target start: May–June 2026
