🌿 Gamble Garden is hiring a Business Manager 🌿

Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden, a nonprofit public garden and community resource in Old Palo Alto, is seeking a hands-on Business Manager to serve as the financial and operational backbone of the organization.

This role manages the $2M operating budget and $7M endowment, ensuring rigor in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, while overseeing essential daily operations including facilities, IT and administration.

This is a strong fit for someone who combines financial acumen with operational leadership and is motivated by meaningful, community-centered work.

You will:

• Manage budgets, financial reporting and audits in QuickBooks Online

• Oversee daily administrative operations, including facilities, IT systems, and rentals

• Directly manage the Events Coordinator and oversee the Office Manager

• Assess and strengthen internal controls, risk management and administrative procedures

• Optimize systems and processes for long-term sustainability

💸 $80,000–$90,000
