This is an opportunity for a professional to learn about program service delivery within a non-profit organization especially as it pertains to serving refugees and immigrants. Included in training will be the administrative activities associated with running a non-profit corporation, public and private fund-raising, and program service delivery under public and private agencies.

General Duties as follows:
1) Work with Executive Director on budgeting, financial planning, and strategic planning for program service offerings and delivery.
2) Assist in fundraising from public and private agencies
3) Assist in program service delivery
4) Participate in the maintenance of a non-profit corporations including Board governance
5) Participate in advocacy, civic engagement, and partnership networking

Scheduled days and times will be coordinated with rest of staff to optimize coverage for program service delivery. Our Center's core schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm. This is a 20 hours/week position with a daily 30 minute lunch break. Additional hours may be available depending on programmatic needs and funding. Work directly with other employee colleagues and report to the Executive Director. 

This is a 50% FTE, salaried exempt position based on annual salary of $45,000/year (50% = $1,875/month) for the period March 1, 2018-December 31, 2018. Funding permitting and with excellent performance, employment may be extended.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Social Science or program service delivery.
2. Three to five years experience working with refugee and immigrant communities (especially in Southeast Asian communities and/or smaller, vulnerable communities).
3. Ability to demonstrate past, dedicated service to vulnerable communities
4. Experience in program service delivery (e.g., ESL, food security, senior services, employment placement, etc.)
5. Must be a self directed professional and possess ability to work with minimal supervision
6. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and professional maturity
7. Strong oral and written communication skills
8. Ability to successfully work under sustained periods of stress due to deadline pressures
9. Ability to work beyond expectations in order to meet needs of clients or organization highly desirable.
10. Demonstrated ability to work with other organization partners, funders, and public/private agencies on behalf of and as representative of organization in a diplomatic and professional manner.
11. Bilingual speaking desirable (e.g., Southeast Asian languages)
