Colibri Consulting Group (CCG) is leading the executive search for TICAS' first Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications & External Relations. 

Role Summary:

In a nutshell, the AVP will lead the planning and execution efforts to advance the organization’s strategic goals and higher education agenda. Serving as a key partner to the President and Programs, Policy & Research Teams, the AVP will lead the organization’s communications & external relations strategies which will include collaborating closely with community partners on national advocacy campaigns, generating media coverage, elevating the organization’s brand, and developing effective narratives across varied audiences through the use of digital and social media and external relations strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategist, executor and strong team manager with 8+yrs of relevant experience who will have 2 direct reports. Salary is 135-160k and we're open to candidates anywhere in USA however a big plus if near or willing to travel to the Washington, DC/Oakland offices.
