Hi folks,

Our org is thinking about using Salesforce for our Development and Program needs. I would love to speak to other nonprofits about their model for implementation and systems administration (split among staff members? one administrator?) as well as implementation do's and don'ts.

If you have time for a 20-30 minute chat, would appreciate it.

Thanks!
Sumaiya

Hi Sumaiya

I'm knee deep in a Salesforce implementation so I'm not sure I have any time for a direct conversation at the moment, but I wanted to send along this webinar I recently attended to see if it would help you out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33fw2qXX6cg&feature=youtu.be

I work with a supportive housing agency in San Francisco and we've been working with Exponent Partners (one of the speakers in the video is from Exponent) to create a custom case management implementation of Salesforce.

Best,

Jamie

Hi Sumaiya,

My organization is a long-time Salesforce user, so we might not be as helpful. But we're big Salesforce users and supporters, and I'm sure one of us would be happy to chat about our experience and setup. If you are interested, send me some days / times you are available and we'll set something up.

Jamie makes a good point. Here is another Saleforce-hosted event you might be interested in: Customizing Salesforce to Your Unique Programs.

Have a great idea to deliver better programs and services, but don't have the tools to make it happen? Build it yourself!

Scholar Athletes and Sunnyside Community Center are two nonprofits that needed a technology solution to fit their unique programming needs, but didn't have a big staff of developers to help them build. With Salesforce's flexible platform and App Cloud, both organizations made Salesforce work even harder for them with easy, point and click custom development.

Join us for this live webinar to hear how Scholar Athletes and Sunnyside are using custom objects, complex workflows, and 3rd-party apps, to make a bigger impact.

Join us on Thursday, July 14th at 11am PDT/2pm EDT to learn more.
