Position Summary
Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) seeks a Coordinator to support the Office of the Executive Director. The Coordinator, Office of the Executive Director (OED) will report to the Chief of Staff and support administration, communications and special projects for the OED team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong organizational and writing skills and have project management experience. Strong candidates will hold a deep commitment to issues of public education, electoral politics, civic engagement and data. Additionally, this role provides many opportunities to hone professional skills, build knowledge, and gain unique perspectives by working alongside ambitious colleagues and dynamic senior leaders in a mission-driven organization.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to create systems and document best practices to ensure we are constantly learning, improving, and developing ways to work more efficiently. The Coordinator needs to exercise strong judgment in responding to questions, trouble-shooting problems, and flagging issues for other team members as needed. Finally, the Coordinator will need to successfully build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other staff at LEE, our members, Teach For America staff, and other partner organizations.
