Oil & Gas Strategic Coordinator for Oil Change International, $100,000, Remote

NRG Consulting Group is helping Oil Change International (OCI) hire a U.S. Oil & Gas Strategic Coordinator to join their team. Oil Change International is a research, communications, and advocacy organization working to expose the true costs of fossil fuels and facilitate the ongoing transition to clean energy.

The U.S. Oil & Gas Strategic Coordinator, reporting to the OCI senior leadership , will work with staff and core partners to bring together strategies across the movement to articulate a comprehensive multi-year effort to limit oil and gas production in the United States. The Strategic Coordinator will support a steering group to engage a broad set of stakeholders to assemble strategies from across the movement to phase out fossil fuels, including frontline & grassroots groups, regionally-focused formations, national NGOs, among others.

The ideal candidates has:

• 8+ years experience working in the U.S. climate and energy policy and/or movement space, preferably with a social justice or progressive non-profit lens;

• 3 or more years experience managing coalitions, developing strategy, and facilitating teams to successfully execute complex projects or campaign efforts;

• Excellent project management, communication, and facilitation skills;

• Demonstrated commitment to social and environmental justice.

This is a remote, 2-year position and the salary is approximately $100,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. The deadline to submit an application is 4/21/2025.
