NRG Consulting Group is helping UTEC hire a Mental Health Clinician.  UTEC is a youth development and social justice organization. Their mission is to ignite and nurture the ambition of young adults to trade violence and poverty for social and economic success.

The Mental Health Clinician, reporting to the Director of Clinical Services , will provide counseling services to proven-risk young adults in UTEC’s program, including our three communities of Lowell, Lawrence and Haverhill, as well as on-site services to incarcerated young adults at correctional facilities. The Clinician will support intake and screening processes and will assist with external referrals for more intensive behavioral health or substance abuse services when appropriate. 

The successful candidate has a master’s degree in a related field and is licensed or eligible for licensure. Knowledge of legal systems, incarceration, and criminal justice, and strong knowledge of trauma informed practices, are a must-have. This position is located in Lowell, MA with a salary of $60,000 plus benefits.
