NRG Consulting Group is helping United Working Families hire an Executive Director to join their team. United Working Families combines the experience, resources, and mass base of organized labor with the energy and innovation of the grassroots to recruit, train, and run candidates, and to build a durable, year-round, volunteer political organization. 

The Executive Director, reporting to the Chair and Vice Chair of UWF Board of Directors, will lead the organization and its collective work of winning, building, and wielding political power for the many, not the few. The Executive Director’s primary responsibilities will include driving strategy and vision setting, leading staff and organizational development, and managing the United Working Families Party & Executive Committee. 

The successful candidate is an experienced, collaborative, strategic, and creative leader who is deeply committed to UWF’s mission and vision and to the continued expansion of our impact.  This includes experience in a senior level position in a labor, community, and/or political organization, experience managing mid- or senior-level employees, a proven track record of fundraising from a wide variety of sources  and a track record of working in  and leading coalitions. 

This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, IL and the salary range is $95,000-$105,000 plus benefits.
