Sacred Harp tomorrow (Aug. 5) at Stoeckel Hall

We'll sing tomorrow, August 5, 7–9 pm, in room 106 of Stoeckel Hall (469 College Street). Next week's singing will be held on Tuesday, August 12, also at Stoeckel Hall. 

A few days ago, the Sacred Harp Publishing Company announced the 100+ new tunes entering the upcoming 2025 revision. The list features a number of Connecticut singers, past and present, including Neely Bruce, Angharad Davis, Keillor Mose, and Daniel Read (long-time resident of Grove Street Cemetery), who between them account for 9 percent of the additions!
