American Physician Scientists Association Annual Meeting
By: Dania Daye, APSA President

This year, the American Physician Scientists Association Annual Meeting will be held from Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th at the Fairmont Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago, IL. We have a wonderful agenda filled with exciting speakers, professional development workshops, networking opportunities with faculty and peers, and amazing social events, including a reception at the top of Willis (formerly Sears) Tower!

APSA's Annual Meeting is also a great opportunities to see presentations from Nobel Laureates; Dr. Shinya Yamanaka, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology, and Dr. Stanley Prusiner, winner of the 1997 Nobel Prize for Medicine or Physiology, will both be speaking. Our Residency Luncheon is a valuable chance for you to meet with Residency Directors from programs around the country.

Registering for APSA's meeting allows you to attend to speakers and events at the annual meeting of the Association of American Physicians and American Society for Clinical Investigation, which is held jointly with APSA's meeting. APSA registration also grants you free registration to the combined meeting of the Central Society for Clinical Research and the Midwestern Section of the American Federation for Medical Research, held in Chicago immediately before APSA's Annual Meeting.

Take this opportunity to visit the information page to review the schedule and register. Be sure to register before the early registration deadline on April 11th!
