regarding exec members greeting

Hi ladies,

 

I know it's been a while since I first sent out the draft of the exec greeting.  (I've been crazy busy these past few weeks since sending out the email with the draft... )

I've made the suggested corrections and it is ready to be sent out.

But since we have our newsletter that will be coming out soon, I was wondering perhaps if it would be better to just have the greeting in the newsletter rather than sending it out separately via email and facebook.

So I'd like to hear what you all think about this.

If the majority of us feel it is just better to send the greeting out now, I will do it this weekend. If not, I will send the revised greeting to Pam so that it can be included in the newsletter.

Although I have not heard back from all of us, it seems like more of us would like it be sent out sooner rather than later. So, I will send it out over the weekend. No problemo~

And I also think it's a good idea to include it in the newletter. So I will send Pam the revised greeting as a Word file so that it can be more easily manipulated for the newsletter.

I think it best not to send out two pubs in a short time period and to just include it in the newsletter. If the newsletter will not be out in the next 2 weeks, however, then I would suggest sending it out now.

I dont think we are ready to send out the newsletter in 2 weeks. So, I think sending out the greeting first is better.

But I thought perhaps, if we include the greeting in the newsletter, perhaps each of us can write up a short CV like piece so that the members can learn more about each of us, and not just our names and nationalities.

it does, but let's do that after publishing the bios and pics in the newsletter, otherwise it won't be news at all.  Please also include something personal if you can- your reasons to pursue a medical career and similar things. I think it would be nice to create an air of personal contact rather than professional.
