Dear Colleagues,

 

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in geotechnical engineering.  Candidates from all areas of geotechnical engineering with crosscutting expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: (1) effects of climate change on geosystems, (2) resiliency of civil infrastructure systems across multiple geohazards, (3) sensing technologies in geoengineering, (4) biomediated and bioinspired geotechnical engineering, (5) energy-related applications of geotechnical engineering, and (6) artificial intelligence/machine learning applications to geotechnical engineering. Additional details are attached. Please share this announcement with your colleagues and other qualified candidates.
