Greetings,
As you may know, the Navy has been working on revisions to the NAVFAC DM for geotechnical engineering. DM 7.1 was released about three years ago. I’m happy to let you all know that DM 7.2 just became public yesterday. The links to both manuals are found below. For your reference, the author team for DM 7.2 included Tom Brandon (Virginia Tech), Mike McGuire (Lafayette College), Ray Martin (retired Schnabel Engineering), and Dan VandenBerge (Tennessee Tech). The following individuals were also heavily involved in the process: Dr. Garry Gregory, Dr. Michael Navin, Mr. John Wolosick, and Mr. Dylan Alissandrello.

If you happen to find any corrections that are needed, please use the CCR functionality on the website.
We are hoping these manuals will be a helpful resource to you and your students. Much thanks to the Tri-Services for supporting this important work for our community and profession.
Best regards,
Dan
