Dear Colleague,

We are recruiting for a permanent academic position in Geomechanics, at Lecturer or Associate Professor level, at the University of Southampton. Please share this message and the links below to any colleagues who might be interested. I can be contacted for further information.

Geomechanics at the University of Southampton is within the Infrastructure Group of the Department of Civil, Maritime and Environmental Engineering. We are based in the National Infrastructure Laboratory, which is a new building hosting a range of laboratories, including geomechanics and a geotechnical centrifuge, as well as 100 academics and researchers working across Civil Engineering. We offer a supportive research environment, involvement in a highly-ranked teaching program, and facilities including laboratories and supercomputing. Southampton has one of the UK’s largest Engineering faculties, offering a host of cross-disciplinary collaboration opportunities, and we lead UK initiatives across marine, maritime, transport, cities and AI.
