Anyone able to coach/chaperone IFS at MIST this weekend, all-weekend? If they can’t find anyone, they can’t compete this year. Competitions include basketball, scholastic bowl, photography, and more.

Sorry I shouldve been more clear.
MIST is the Muslim Interscholastic Tournament. It is a competition for Muslim HS students. There are multiple events that they prepare for (scholastic bowl, photography, tajweed, basketball, etc) This year MIST is in Chicago for the first time. The competition is at elmhurst college.
The coaching position is an all weeked commitment. Events start at 9am on Saturday and Sunday and end at 8pm both days. The coach doubles as a chaperone, organizes the team, makes sure the kids are where they need to be etc.
The kids at IFS are really looking forward to participating but they're having a really hard time finding an adult to work with them. The competiton starts tomorrow but they're still hopeful someoene will come through for them iA

Asalaamu alaikum,
Sorry if this is inappropriate use of the mailing list.
My students at IFS are desperately seeking anyone that is 21+ yrs old to be their coach for this weekend's MIST competition. I would do it but I'm going out of town.
Please respond ASAP and let me know if you are free to chaperone and coach this weekend.
JAK,
Ayesha
