Hi All,

Here are the Announcements for the coming week...

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE REVERTING BACK TO OUR 11AM START TIME THIS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH—WE WILL STILL BE IN THE CHAPEL.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Sept 7 & 14 - Regular Worship Service with Rev. Bev Brazier - in the Chapel, at 11:00am
Sept 21 - Worship Service led by Rev. Alison Mock and Rev. Bev Brazier  - location to be confirmed

Rev. Bev Brazier is available for pastoral care during office hours on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am until noon.  She is also available by email or phone bcsbr...@live.ca  867-334-6606—she would be pleased to hear from you.

Book Club – Starting up again in October, our selection is I am a Girl from Africa by Elizabeth Nyamayaro, a memoir from a Zimbabwean woman whose childhood near-death experience sparked a lifelong dedication to humanitarian work that helps bring change across the world, grounded by the African concept of ubuntu—“I am because we are”. Audio, e-book and hard copies are available through the public library system and paperbacks are available at the bookstore under the customer name “Book Club”. We meet at 12:15 in Room 215 on Sunday, October 5’th, all are welcome. For more information, contact Barb Paquin at 867-873-4314.

Thank you to Natalie Kelln for helping out in the office while Sara, Marg and Laurie were away last week!

Blue Bins - Thank you to our August volunteers:  Sean and Janice, Bill and Laurie, Peter Harte, Terrilyn and Dave, Marg and Lloyd, Brian and Natalie.  We are now looking to fill October and November.  Terrilyn will be away for most of October, so it would be great if folks could let her know so that the coordination is all set by the first week in October.  Thank you!

YKUC will be sponsoring two community Christmas Bazaars on November 15th and December 6th.  If you or someone you know is interested in booking a table, please email Marg at ma...@theedge.ca for more information.
