A Yellowknife Request from Alison

Dear YKUC Friends,

Guess where I am?? As I type this, I'm looking out my window onto 50A Avenue, enjoying some Barren Grounds coffee, wearing my favourite slippers. I'm in Yellowknife, and so so happy to be here! I'll be in town for the next two Sundays, and I can't wait to see you IN PERSON tomorrow! It will be a completely technology-free service. Just bring yourselves (to the Chapel, I think, but stay tuned), and we'll enjoy some time together.

Even better news, I've brought two teen boys with me! My younger son James and his friend Finn are here to do some camping. Based on the size of their backpacks, they seem ready for anything. But, they didn't have room for their fishing rods on the plane. Would anyone be willing to lend a couple of rods to two responsible young anglers?

Also: if there were a canoe or kayaks up for grabs, that would be awesome!

I'll see you tomorrow, or around town this week.
