All New Home Owners in Yellownknife Condo Corp #8
In October 2006 the Board of Directors for Yellowknife Condo Corp #8
unanimously passed a motion to establish a policy for monthly
pre-authorized payments for condo fees. All new owners joining after
January 1, 2007 will be required to use the pre­authorized payment
method. The payments will be debited from your bank account the first
of each month.
A letter with this notice will be sent to all of the real eastate
lawyers in Yellowknife.

OUTSTANDING CONDO FEES.

We are in the process of trying to work with the City and other
government agencies to raise $100,000.00 to do a feasibility study of
our water and sewer because the other plan fell through. The City
initiated this proposal and if we want to do our part we would like to
come up with $30,000.00. We are unable to do this due to the large
amount of outstanding condo fees owed. Posted are members who owe 60
days or more in Condo fees to the YK Condo Corp #8.
When a member does not pay their Condo fees, it costs us all in legal
expenses. First we place a lien on each unit. Papers are then filed
with Small Claims Court. If there is a counter suit we appear with
legal represe:ptation to defend the interest of all of our members. All
of these charges are paid out of the Condo fees of members who are
current with their Condo fees.
The Directors will be working closely with Accounting Plus to try and
get these funds collected on behalf of all members.
If you owe money please pay so that we can get on with business and try
to make Condo Corp #8 more attractive place to live.
