Apologies and Acknowledgements
Wade
acknowledgments were left unmade at our AGM. There are a number of
people behind the scenes that were not thanked for everything they have
contributed to the Condo Corp. Even after two rounds of applause went
out for me, I was still too selfish to share the glory and for that I
apologize.
James Clark, having sat on the Board as long as he has, did not at all
get the thanks that he has earned. I want to thank him for the time and
dedication he has put into the Board for the last several years. He is
the one that got me started into all this, and without him we wouldn't
be as far ahead as we are,
Ioan Astle, Terry Isnor, and all the many other people that have put
forward countless volunteer hours as Board members. Your assistance in
bettering our community, perhaps unacknowledged, has not gone
unrecognized. Thank you very much.
Terrence Smith, as new to all this as he is, took the initiative and
set up a website for us. This new tool is going to make things so much
easier for us to accomplish what has seemed to be the impossible. Thank
you very much for your time and effort.
Loretta Kaminski, taking on the task of organizing and recruiting
volunteers, has proven very valuable and hasn't recieved the
recognition she deserves. Thank you Loretta, for your ambition and
commitment.
And last but most certainly not least, Pearl Benyk. Having been a
Northland resident since before it was even condominiumized, she has
most certainly clocked more person hours than I will most likely ever
see in this project. I've worked more with her on this than with anyone
else and she is one of, if not the most valuable, unsung hero in the
Condo Corp. Thank you Pearl for all your many contributions.
I know there are many people, in years past and present, not mentioned
at the AGM, that have been involved in bringing us to where we are in
our struggle to find resolution. Thanks again for all of your time and
support. It has not gone unappretiated.
