Coming to the masses to share my resume in hopes for a break this employment rat race! I am a former fed of 10+ years, grassroots organizer (20+ years) for causes near and dear to me in the community, long-ago nonprofit manager in Seattle, and writer/poet when the time is right. I am hoping to use my skills for something climate related as the last few years have been in Emergency Management, Climate Resilience, City Resilience Hubs, Urban Mobility, and Capacity Building for community members.
I am completely open to pivoting sectors/roles. Most of my skills fall within the generalist scope but I excel at program design, evaluation, change management, and risk mitigation for programs/projects (basically taking a microscope to something and seeing what can go wrong and how to prevent it). I am including my resume and trust that it will land where it needs to.
I am also open to most working arrangements (In Person, Hybrid, Remote) and schedules (full time / part time). Really hoping to get my brain working again while ensuring that I can get some income. I started studying for the LSAT (this is a
recession indicator that I can't miss out on) and sewing in addition to the grassroots organizing.
FUN FACTS - my sense of humor is top notch, I've bartended, barista'ed, and served for many years, and trained in nose work games with my doggo!
Please reply privately any leads you might have. Please NO scammers, creeps, or drama. Times are hard so why add to the mix? Feel free to pass along my resume to anyone that might find use!
Thanks very much!
