If anyone can convince leaders and neighbors to do the right thing - it's stories like Allie's. Hope you can join FSS / elevate victims' voices in your work.

Faith join us for a a pivotal moment for efforts to address dangerous speeding in the Washington region.

Dear Faith,

Last week would have been my daughter Allie's 10th birthday.

Instead, our family spent the week remembering the little girl we lost at age 5 when she was struck and killed by a careless driver while riding her bike in a crosswalk in a school zone. As so many of you know, birthdays are heartbreaking. While we celebrate the joy Allie brought to our lives, we mourn the many years she was denied and the future she never had the chance to live.

Allie's story is why I continue to advocate for safer streets and stronger accountability for the most dangerous drivers. No family should have to experience the devastation of losing a child to a preventable traffic crash.

Please join us for a national capital region Stop Super Speeders Demonstration & Press Conference ahead of Virginia's program launch on July 1.

RSVP 6/30 10 - 11 am ET

Speakers include Sen. Jeff Waldstreicher, NTSB Board Member Thomas Chapman, Judge Michael Cassidy, NHTSA/ABA Judicial Outreach Liaison for Virginia, and more.

This event comes at a pivotal moment for efforts to address dangerous speeding in the Washington region. We will highlight Virginia's upcoming program launch, celebrate the recent passage of Maryland's Stop Super Speeders legislation, and discuss the newly implemented DC ISA program for super speeders.

Together, these efforts reflect growing recognition that a small number of repeat, high-risk speeders cause outsized harm on our roads and that stronger interventions are needed to prevent future tragedies.

As we carry Allie's memory forward, I hope you'll join us in calling for policies that save lives and spare other families from the loss ours has endured.

Thank you for your support, and I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Jessica Hart
