HI Everyone – friends and members of TRB Committee AJE 30. 

The US Department of Transportation is seeking to recruit a program manager for our Transit Asset Management Program.   FTA is interested in finding a candidate with experience working on transit asset management at a transit agency or a State DOT to help take the FTA Transit Asset Management Program to the next level.  The person we hire for this position will have responsibility for:

• Organizing our annual program of technical assistance, peer sharing, and outreach – including our webinar program and annual roundtables;
• Managing FTA’s program of directly-funded asset management research and development of new technical assistance products;
• Working with FTA’s 10 Regional Offices to ensure consistent implementation and oversight of asset management policy across FTA; and
• Developing the next-generation of FTA’s transit asset management program.
