New Pennsylvania Avenue Plan Design Concepts Public Meetings
The New Pennsylvania Avenue Plan will beautify public spaces, upgrade aging infrastructure, and create efficient stewardship. When complete, the plan will lay the framework for the Avenue as a stage for awe-inspiring events and an iconic setting for everyday life.
NCPC will present new design concepts for the corridor and three main public spaces at the commission’s April 2 meeting. NCPC is hosting several opportunities for the public to learn more and ask questions about these design concepts, which include two virtual public meetings with the design consultant team and a display at the National Building Museum from April 9 through April 30. The public is invited to comment from March 30 to April 30.
The first meeting will be on Wednesday, April 8 from 12:00-1:00 pm and the second on Wednesday, April 22 from 6:30–8:00 pm. The content will be the same, so you can choose whichever is best for you. Details on the initiative and how to RSVP:
