Join my team as an Emergency Planning Specialist! 

The DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) is currently recruiting for a new position focusing on implementing objectives related to Resilient DC. Resilient DC ensures the District’s economy, communities, infrastructure, and natural resources can adapt to a changing world. Specific job responsibilities will include coordinating closely with District government agencies and other partners to implement the initiatives outlined in the Resilient DC strategy, tracking and reporting on annual progress, developing grant applications and managing projects related to resilience, communicating to stakeholders and leading public engagement regarding resilience planning, and ensuring that equity remains central in all resilience initiatives. Additionally, this individual will support emergency planning, mitigation, and response activities.
