New leadership opportunity in Georgetown University's relaunched Office of Sustainability! Come and work with me as we build a new team of talented, passionate, equity-focused change-makers. This position will function as a co-director of sustainability with me focusing on systems and culture within the university.


Job Overview

The Director is a key position within the Georgetown University Office of Sustainability to lead and manage implementation of sustainability initiatives within the administration and culture of the university.  The person in this role directs and facilitates internal stakeholder engagement with teams working on business administration and culture such as procurement, investment, information services, human resources, campus dining and stores, student affairs, alumni relations, and communications to inform sustainability strategic planning and project implementation and reporting. They also manage partnerships with business and external groups, and lead business analysis of sustainability initiatives. The person in this role will develop and launch programs with internal partners to foster a culture of sustainability at Georgetown. This position directs the facilitation of organizational change for sustainability within the administration and culture of Georgetown and builds into the process mechanisms for incorporating justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Projects and programs may provide experiential learning and have research and educational components to support the academy. The person in this role forms key partnerships with cross-functional teams and departments, as well as external private, public, and non-profit organizations.
