Apologies for the Recent Spam Emails

I want to apologize for the recent spam emails that some of you may have received over the past couple of days. While I only accept requests to join the listserv that include a brief description of their interest in the group, a couple of new members submitted tailored messages that appeared legitimate and subsequently sent emails that did not align with our group’s purpose.
To prevent this from happening in the future, I am implementing a temporary moderation process for new members. Going forward, messages from new members will be moderated initially. Once a new member has shared a message in line with the group guidelines, they will be able to post unmoderated messages.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping keep our community focused and valuable for everyone.
