Our team is hiring! This is for the Vision Zero and Highway Safety Officer, the director of the joint Vision Zero and Highway Safety Office at DDOT. 

The position leads the Highway Safety and Vision Zero Office, guiding strategy, policy, and implementation to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries in the District. It oversees a multidisciplinary team, manages federal and local compliance, and advises leadership using the Safe System approach in collaboration with government and community partners. The role also directs staff, supervises grant and reporting processes, and presents key data to track progress and risks.
