mobile formatted deals / workaround / alternatives

Is anyone else using this api for mobile apps?

The deal urls have stopped correctly redirecting to a mobile formatted version of the deal about 8 weeks ago and a fix from yipit does not seem likely - though it appears the Yipit mobile app is rendering deals correctly in mobile format.

Can anyone recommend a workaround?

I've tried using

Btw, has anyone had good experiences with sqoot?
