I have joined Living Social affiliate program and have updated my pub_id at http://yipit.com/about/api/aff/ . 

When i click on living social deal link on my website, i am not getting redirected to Living Social site with pub_id embedded in the url

All Yipit API links lead to a Yipit hosted deal page. From there, you can click on the deal which will redirect to the source deal page with the affiliate credentials the API user has configured into the Yipit system.
