George Charalambidis Lymberpa S.A. assesed by ICAP Group as one of the "Strongest Companies in Greece"!!!!

G.CHARALAMBIDIS - LYMBERPA S.A.’ has been assessed by ICAP Group as one of the Strongest Companies in Greece.    Only some 500 companies in Greece have so far received this accreditation!!

This important acknowledgement verifies our creditworthiness and links us to the most powerful enterprises in Greece, which are ready to face the challenges of our times.

The “Strongest Companies in Greece” is a community of enterprises that are ranked at the highest Credit Ratings of ICAP Group. ICAP Group is recognized by the Bank of Greece as an External Credit Assessment Institution and by the European Central Bank as an Accepted Rating Tool Source.

Only one in ten companies in Greece meet the required criteria to be included in the community of Strongest Companies.

Mr. Simos Charalambidis, President of George Charalambidis Lymberpa SA, stated that it is an honor for George Charalambidis Lymberpa SA to be among the first 500 companies that have been accredited such a certificate that not only proves the excellent services we have been offering to the Greek & World market for more than a century, but also that via these professional services, we have been in position to achieve and maintain a leading position in the Greek market and be recognized as one of the few reliable partners one can have in Greece.    ICAP Credit Ranking effort is to bring an order to the chaos of the Greek market, which is a result of the business default.    This ICAP Group's goal to distinguish enterprises with the best credit ratings should have the support of all well established companies worldwide who should choose their partners in Greece based on business ethics and professionalism criteria.

These first ICAP 500 accredited Greek companies, and the rest to follow, by going beyond provision of excellent services, position themselves stronger in the market which enables them in to paying in prompt manner all their dues as insurance funds of their employees, taxes, partners etc. and have significant capital reserves and all that is needed to be in position to be receiving AA rankings.

The vision of ICAP Group to build in Greece, as soon as possible, a business community that operates with basic conditions which are common practice for many years in developed countries, should find recognition worldwide.     It is sad that by estimation only some 3,000 companies in Greece in total can fulfill the criteria to receive such accreditation at this stage, and only the first 500 have been accredited so far!! The significant characteristic of these companies, is the respect that they demonstrate in any transaction, towards suppliers, customers, banks but also to their employees.     Discriminating glitter from Gold, preferring to work with a creditworthy partner in Greece is hoped and expected to create an example to the rest to follow this same path, of professional operations according to proper business practices and ethics, proving such via ICAP certification.

We invite all equally well established companies worldwide to seek to co-operate with equally well established companies in Greece.    Besides us, there are a couple of other freight forwarders in Greece that have also had the honor to receive this same certificate.    In the link below you can check whether a company has been certified or can’t be certified:

http://www.icap.gr/ECPage.aspx?id=8171&nt=18&lang=2    Have in mind that the cost of getting this accreditation is ZERO!      Therefore a company either got it or they can’t..

We strongly believe and urge customers worldwide and their agents to seek and entrust their precious cargo, their supply chain, the “blood” of their organization to equally well established companies in Greece and start avoiding less creditworthy ones, as co-operating with companies that cannot fulfill the ICAP certificate requirements is as one would have a wolf guard the sheeps.     Finally now, companies worldwide have a choice, the opportunity to actually learn / know via an independent organization, (the only one recognized by Bank of Greece and the European Central Bank), with whom they want to co-operate in Greece and expedite accordingly and in a professional manner, co-operating with a certified company, the shipments their customers entrust to them, preferring to cooperate by differentiating “gold” from “glitter”!!        To be sure you are not cooperating with a time bomb in Greece, always ask your partners in Greece to provide you with their copy of their certificate.     If a Greek Company is well standing, well established and thus eligible, certification is free of cost, so they can provide easily once you ask them,,,, if they can’t....    The choice is yours, between glitter and gold.   GO 4 THE GOLD!!!!
