Flatirons Habitat for Humanity plans affordable homes in Marshall fire area

Flatirons Habitat for Humanity and Community Foundation Boulder County are partnering to build 10 permanently affordable homes in the Marshall Fire burn area, with a goal of helping fire survivors stay in their community. The $6 million project includes funding from a $3 million grant from the Community Foundation, plus a request for the community to contribute an additional $1 million. Flatirons Habitat plans to add $2 million through Habitat for Humanity mortgages, volunteer labor and in-kind contributions.
