Seattle Public Schools (SPS) is seeking to add a new football/soccer hybrid field for Lincoln High School in Lower Woodland Park. The east side of Lower Woodland Park near Green Lake Way has a fully occupied athletic complex with 10 tennis courts, two soccer fields, four softball fields, a regional baseball diamond, and about 360 paved parking spots. Boulder City Council shows support for study that could lead to expansion

A decision by the Boulder City Council could clear the way for the city to expand and potentially add thousands of new homes. The City Council voted 7-2 in its Thursday meeting to advance a study that explores annexing a 493-acre area outside of north Boulder, also known as the Area III planning reserve. Councilmembers Mark Wallach and Taishya Adams voted against the measure. The council also voted to add language that could dictate the types of land use should annexation happen.
