Louisville’s Historic Old Town has an impressive network of local landmarks — 70 as of this month. The majority of those landmarks are privately owned homes, and it’s those owners who pursue the designation. For many, that decision stems from a desire to preserve local history, said Jess Daniels, a senior planner for Louisville. “People love their homes.
