Sophie is the co-worker of Yichao who kindly lent him the bike. I indicated
to all of you about my suspicion on the condition and safety device of the
bike when my lawyer friend Rich told me his impression when he met Sophie in
the hospital on Feb 10th. However, couple of days ago, Yuying (email cc'ed
here) told me she was present when Sophie lend Yichao the bike. She told me
Sophie spent quite some time going over the biking safety rules and she
thought the bike was in good condition. So here I apologize to Sophie about
my suspicion on her. I hope she accept this, as most of you know that I am a
person suspcicous on everything.
Let's wish the best for Yichao's family again,
Dan
