We have a complex relationship with scarcity and abundance, as we started to explore in 2011, and as I described in the realm of education in my TEDx talk. 

Who knew that a gift economy website could wipe out the Britannica?

In bygone times, we nurtured abundance by keeping the Commons together, but for years we've been seeing it only as natural resources to use up. 

Now abundance, gifts and the Commons are back in conversation. 

Together, let's discuss:

• What is happening? What is the shift afoot?
• How can we have profits AND the Commons?
• What happens to the economy, meanwhile?
