Dear YGNSS Google Groups Members,
I want to wish you all a happy new year, with even better health for
you and your family and friends, greater success to your careers/
studies, and more outreach on GNSS and YGNSS activities!
I am very appreciative of everyone's contributions and efforts to
educating people on GNSS. It is amazing that in less than half a year,
we have done so much and impressed the GNSS providers and its
observing members. I know everyone has been busy with their own lives
(work, school work, etc), and even that has not stopped you from
putting in your time and efforts. I hope you will continue to put in
some more time, as I definitely cannot do it alone and our group truly
represents an international team effort. What I also find most amazing
is that most of you are from emerging space nations, and that is also
the agencies and the youth that must most know about the benefits of
GNSS. So keep up the good work contributing, and if you have not yet,
please don't forget to take our opinion poll as soon as possible!!

We are using it for our ION Technical Paper that is due at the end of
January, so we will start analyzing the results over the next few
days! And please spread the word to your friends and colleagues!!
Other Updates:
- International Committee on GNSS (ICG-3) YGNSS Presentation and
Report Now Up on Google Groups!
- YGNSS will be presenting at UN COPUOS in February 2009
- YGNSS will be writing and presenting paper at ION Technical Meeting
at the end of January 2009
- YGNSS will be writing and have a poster up at the ISU Symposium
2009, Strasbourg, France.
- YGNSS Brochure is a little delayed-- but it's on its way!
We Still Need Volunteers For Maintaining the:
- YGNSS Wiki Education Portal
- Think up topics of the International Astronautical Congress paper
