We celebrated mother's 85th birthday at the Restoran Michelin Star, a new 1 year old restaurant in town on August 8, 2010. We took a private room for 4 tables. 3 tables were occupied by relatives and 1 table by mother's pastor and church friends. Mother was in a very happy mood and pleased that we came home to celebrate her big occasion. Remembering that getting to 70, then 80 is getting harder, hitting 90 is going to be tougher, so doing a mid-term major celebration at 85 is considered important. But we told mother to prepare for her 90th big do and she was visibly pleased to look forward to it. Meanwhile here are some pix to view.
