Just wanted to share a web page I recently came across which I believe are principals to building trust and respect in a relationship. It's called the "Howard Jackson Respect Model" for systematically building trust and respect, and consists of the following (in order):

1. Straight talk.


2. Listening for understanding.


3. Making commitments.


4. Reliability.


5. Trust.


6. Respect.
