Happy New Year and I hope this email finds you well.

 

The Kingston City Council has engaged Prensa – Environmental & Safety Professionals to conduct building materials inspections in a number of  buildings in 2022. The inspections are part of the councils Corporate OHS responsibilities. They shall ensure that the Kingston City Council maintains the highest standard of occupational health and safety for our employees. The inspections may involve some sampling of materials, this will be done only where the appearance of the building is not compromised and shall not involve any risk to Kingston City Council Staff or User Groups.

 

The Prensa personnel will need access, and where available, to the ceiling spaces of parts of the buildings that we occupy. Please give them your full co-operation in achieving access to these areas. Once access has been provided, there is no need to accompany the Prensa personnel. If you have any questions about the materials identified during the inspection, please ask the Prensa personnel at the time of the inspection, they will answer you or direct your inquiry to someone qualified to give you a response.

 

Can you please notify staff and user groups of the facilities of the upcoming inspection.  Please complete provide via return email the preferred contact/s for the following location including contact number. These preferred contacts will be notified 48 to 24 hours prior to enter by the consultant.
