Get photocopies of the following documents:
One of the following as address proof
Rental agreement/ration card or latest electricity/telephone/water/gas bill in either your or your family members name.
Passport/driving license/income tax assessment order/ postpaid mobile telephone bill/mail received at the address from postal department.
Affidavit stating present address.
One of the following as age proof
Government issues birth certificate.
High school completion certificate with date of birth
Passport/pan card
One passport size photograph
Voter ID Card, if you already have one in a different constituency.

A person can vote from any constituency in India if he/she has been staying there for more than 6 months.
I am already registered in a different constituency. Can I get it transferred?
A person can get himself/herself included in the electoral roll of the constituency of current stay by filling Form 8A.
