Is there a plan to add group by function to persist?

Hi,
As I recalled, because mongodb did not support aggregation, if I
wanted to use group by in sql, I'd have to use raw sql.
This is awful, since in many data view pages, pagination is
important. If I did group by in application, it was hard to calculate
the rows and pages. If did it in database, then almost in every
handler I'd put raw sql in it.
As this page (http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/Aggregation) says,
mongodb now supports aggregation. Then will these functions be in
persistent now?
