I'm not sure how you deleted the old versions, but I'm guessing there's something wrong there. I'd take the easy solution here: wipe out your ~/.ghc folder and try again.

Hi all, first I would like to say it's been a joy developing in Yesod, you guys really made a wonderful framework to allow developers to express the power of Haskell in a real word situation.

I've been mainly developing a web app in the older 1.1 version.  Yesterday, I decided to update it to the 1.2 version.  It took me a while to manually delete dependencies (I know I must have done something worong....) but I finally fully installed yesod-platform-1.2.0.1 but now I'm trying to install the yesod-bin package but there seems to be libraries that aren't linked right.  I've asked on stackoverflow however the problem has not yet been resolve.

Please have a look and tell me where I've done wrong.......

Thank you Haskellers!
